About This Site
This is the retail site of Thistle Dance Publishing, a company which reproduces fine art images by Canadian artists on greeting cards. From Suezan Aikins' serene gold leaf paintings to the voluptuous colour of Holly Carr's paintings-on-silk; from the haunting watercolours of Carol Hoorn Fraser to the brilliant landscapes of Paul Hannon; we offer a broad selection of images to satisfy a variety of tastes.

About Our Cards
All our card images start out as fine art. They may be oil paintings, watercolours, paintings on silk, etchings, egg tempuras, or any of the many media used by artists. We license each image for use on our greeting cards and pay the artists royalties on sales.
Our cards come in several sizes, are printed on chlorine-free paper, and include a plain white envelope. Most of our cards are blank (no printed message inside).
