Originally from the Ottawa Valley, Richard Rudnicki lives and works in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Trained in fine-arts and graphic design, Richard spent many years building a marketing and advertising company. By the mid 1990s, however, he had grown tired of the demands of the business, so he sold the company in order to pursue his first love of painting and drawing. His new career gave him an opportunity to rediscover his creativity. He now works as a full-time painter and teaches figure drawing and portraiture classes.
